Eleven people were killed by lightning in Sialkot, Narowal and Sheikhupura districts of Punjab in a single day on Sunday.
According to rescue sources, five each people died in Sialkot and Narowal while one person lost their life in Sheikhupura due to a lightning strike.
According to sources, incidents of lightning strikes occurred in different areas of Tehsil Pasrur of Sialkot.
Initially, three youths were killed and many were injured in these incidents, in which 2 more people died, after which the death toll rose to 5.
On the other hand, it was reported that four people were killed and six injured in Narowal, one person also died there, thus the death toll in Narowal rose to 5.
One person died due to a lightning strike in Mandala village of Sheikhupura.
