As many as 133 people have lost their lives across the country since June 25 as the powerful monsoon spell continues across the country.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) report on loss of life and property during monsoon said that 57 men, 21 women and 55 children were among the dead.

According to the report, the highest number of deaths was reported in Punjab at 65, Followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 35 and Balochistan at six.

Ten people lost their lives in Sindh and five from Azad Kashmir, the report said.

The monsoon killed 11 people in the federal capital Islamabad.

A total of 215 people were injured across the country due to the recent rains, including 87 men, 56 women and 72 children.

A total of 368 houses have been damaged due to rains across the country during a month, 245 cattle have been lost due to recent rains and floods.
