190 million pounds NCA scandal: NAB will record statements of Imran Khan’s cabinet

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will begin recording statements of former prime minister Imran Khan’s cabinet in Rawalpindi today in connection with the investigation of the 190 million pounds scandal of the National Crime Agency.

NAB Rawalpindi has summoned former ministers Faisal Vawda, Sheikh Rasheed and Ali Zaidi today.

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed has been summoned as a witness in the Imran Khan case. According to sources, former interior minister will not appear, but his lawyers will appear.

Imran Khan appears before NAB Rawalpindi:

It may be recalled that Imran Khan appeared at the NAB Rawalpindi office yesterday in the 190 million pounds British Crime Agency investigation case, where he was formally involved in the investigation.

Imran Khan was present at the NAB Rawalpindi office for about four hours. The NAB team asked Imran Khan to answer 20 questions related to the case. NAB questioned Imran Khan regarding the record of correspondence with the British Crime Agency and also asked him to record freezing orders worth 190 million pounds.

Imran Khan had said that the record of the decision regarding 190 million pounds is with the Cabinet Division, “I do not have access to the records of NCA UK, the record of Al Qadir Trust has already been received by NAB.”

NAB officials asked Imran Khan whether he had read the summary approved by the federal cabinet, to which Imran Khan replied that he did not read the summary in detail himself.

Imran Khan said that Shahzad Akbar had verbally briefed him in this regard, on the instructions of Shahzad Akbar, he approved the summary.

Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi was present in the car outside the NAB Rawalpindi office.
