Forty houses burnt down in fire incidents in Badin

A total of 40 houses were destroyed in Badin in two separate fire incidents on Friday.

Almost 35 houses and other structures were reduced to ashes in the Mir locality of Lunwari Sharif town. The fire which erupted in the houses engulfed the entire portion of the locality due to which 10 cattle heads along with all valuables of the residents were completely destroyed.

In another fire incident in the village, Allah Dino Soomro 5 houses were destroyed. The fire victims were exposed to the open skies after their houses were completely gutted by terrible blazes.

The devastating infernos were later controlled by fire tenders sent from Badin city.

Deputy Commissioner Agha Shah Nawaz along with officials and PPP MPA from Badin Haji Taj Mohammad Mallah visited the affected villages and distributed the relief items. The DC talking to the media assured that the affected people will get an adequate amount sanctioned for their rehabilitation after the proper survey of their losses.
