Accountability has always been one sided, Chaudhry Nisar

I don’t know who will be held accountable this time, Nisar announces to contest elections

Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar said that he has been listening since childhood and that everyone will be held accountable but that accountability was always one-sided.

Addressing the media he said that he will contest the elections. He said that the roads in his constituency were still incomplete and carpeting was delayed. He said that he would contest elections independently from constituency NA-69. He said that he would also contest elections from his ancestral constituency in PP-10.

The former minister also said that PP-10 was the constituency whose people had still voted for him despite he had not done anything in his constituency.

Nisar said that he could say a lot about what was going on in Punjab but he would like to distance himself from that. He said that he did not know what kind of accountability would be done.

He said that he didn’t know who will be held accountable this time.

During the media talk, Nisar had requested the media to record initial statements and then turn off the cameras. He said that he did not want camera recordings because he did not want to clear his position before anyone later.
