The Civil Lines Police in Lahore has conducted an intelligence-based operation against an online page that operated as a brothel on social media.
According to the Lahore police, three were arrested in connection to the nefarious crime. The accused ran a social media page by the name of ‘Lahore Escorts’, which functioned as a liaison between women and their clientele.
The recent arrests were a part of a larger crackdown on brothels by the Lahore police. 450 people who were allegedly involved in brothel operations were arrested in the last ten days alone. Chaudhry also ordered police officers to expedite the operations against brothels. He furthered that immoral and illegal activities would not be tolerated under any circumstances. Chaudhry also appealed to the citizens and insisted they played their part to save society from corruption.
