Considering the popularity of PTV classic, Uroosa, it’s never difficult to guess when a still from it is shared, or when two of its leading performers, Adnan Siddiqui and Mishi Khan, come together even if is after many years of the serial’s release.
Written by Fatima Surayya Bajiya and directed by Qasim Jalali, Uroosa happens to be from the very early days of both Siddiqui and Khan’s careers, hence the duos attachment to the serial.
On November 21, on World Television Day, Siddiqui took to Instagram to share a picture of his with Khan. Although everyone instantly knew that the photo was from drama serial Uroosa, Siddiqui still asked his fans to make a guess, probably for the sake of recalling the once hit popular television project.
It was, on one hand, a celebration on Siddiqui’s part for stepping into the drama industry with such a massive hit to his name, which he was made to remember on World Television Day. Prior to Uroosa, Siddiqui worked as a model in various commercials, which he also mentioned in his caption to the photo, telling that although he had been working as a model before, the small screen welcomed him warmly into drama serials and it is since then that he has been working day and night for the field.
The actor and producer was also found saying that whatever he is, it is the result of his work in the field stretching over three decades.
