Mehreen Jabbar’s much-awaited web series ‘Farar’ was wrapped up a few months back, and now its ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) has begun, as told by Jabbar just yesterday through her Instagram account.
Starring Sarwat Gillani and Tooba Siddiqui along-with other notable actors, ‘Farar’ has many of Mehreen Jabbar’s fans excited, as they cannot wait to find out if this is a remake of Jabbar’s telefilm of the same name which was released in the 1990s. The film starred big names like Sania Saeed, Marina Khan and Humayun Saeed.
The new ‘Farar’, or the ‘other Farar’ by Mehreen Jabbar has been exclusively made for the Indian OTT platform Zee5, for which multiple other Pakistani projects have been filmed. However, ‘Farar’ does not happen to be Mehreen’s only collaboration with Sarwat Gillani.
Both have done multiple hits together including drama serials ‘Malal’ and ‘Mata e Jan Hai Tu’ and the film ‘Dil Mera Dharkan Teri’ which was a remake of an old Pakistani feature film. With Tooba Siddiqui as well, Mehreen Jabbar has worked in the mega drama serial ‘Vasl’ and a romantic telefilm titled ‘Wapsi’. ‘Farar’ is slated for release this year and is in the watch-list of multiple people.
