The deputy governor of Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province has been killed in a bomb blast.
According to a foreign news agency, a car bomb exploded in Badakhshan province in northern Afghanistan on Tuesday, killing the deputy governor of the province.
Deputy Governor Nisar Ahmed Ahmadi and his driver were killed and six civilians were injured in the blast in Badakhshan province, which borders China and Tajikistan, a provincial spokesman said.
According to media reports, no organization had so far claimed responsibility for the blast.
