AJK PM discusses financial issues and future plans with Ishaq Dar

Despite difficult circumstances, government committed to placing economy on path of stability and prosperity, says Finance Minister

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq met with Minister of Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday to address financial issues and the speed of AJK’s development plans.

According to a press release, the Finance Minister reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to the progress and development of all regions, including AJK.

Senior AJK Minister Colonel (Retd) Waqar Noor, AJK Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, SAPM on Revenue Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Chairman of the FBR, Chief Secretary AJK, Secretary Finance AJK, and senior officers from the Finance Division were present in the meeting.

Ishaq Dar also said that the welfare and development of the people of Kashmir were among the government’s top priorities and that no effort would be spared to further the region’s development.

He discussed the country’s economic future and said that, despite the difficult circumstances, the government is committed to placing the economy on a path of stability and prosperity.

Ishaq Dar offered the AJK administration whatever support the federal government could offer in its pursuit of economic growth and success.
