There are reports of a drone attack on a hotel in Afghanistan’s Khost province. It is said that this hotel was frequented by the Pakistani Taliban of Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group.
According to initial reports, several militants of the Gul Bahadur group were targeted in the attack.
A source said at least 20 people were injured.
Sources claimed that Hafiz Gul Bahadur himself was the target of the attack.
Local sources said the attack was carried out by drones.
There was no official statement.
“I have been told that there was an explosion that caused the roof of the hotel to collapse,” a senior Pakistani Taliban commander told Khorasan Diary by phone. People are trapped inside. Islamic Emirate troops have cordoned off the area and no one is allowed inside.

Other reports said that the hotel in question was located near the Mosque in Khost city and the victims included Pakistani residents of Waziristan and citizens of Khost.
However, the Khorasan Diary also stated, “There has been no aerial activity from Pakistan’s airspace, concerned officials told TKD.”
