Romania has detained ex-kick boxer, Andrew Tate, on suspicion of human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized crime group.

Following a search of their properties in Bucharest, prosecutors from the anti-organized crime unit announced that Tate and his brother Tristan will be detained for 24 hours along with two Romanian suspects.

Prosecutor said, “The four suspects appear to have created an organized crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing, and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialized websites for a cost.”

They would have gained important sums of money, the prosecutor added.

According to prosecutors, six women had been sexually exploited by the suspects.

Tate replied that women belong to males and that they share some of the blame for rape.

Tate had also been banned from social media platforms for misogynistic comments and hate speech.
