A video of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa while performing Haj showed the Pakistani pilgrims rushing to COAS for taking selfies.
He asked the Haj pilgrims to pray for the prosperity of Pakistan.
As the army chief asked people to pray for Pakistan, their reply was,” May Allah grant you a long life.”
General Bajwa was inside “Haram premises” without any security protocols and he did not stop anyone coming to him for taking selfies.
Prominent Pakistani personalities including JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and many others are in Saudi Arabia to offer the obligatory Haj.
