The daughter of slain journalist and anchorperson Arshad Sharif has written a letter to judges of the Supreme Court demanding an investigation of the incident.

Arshad Sharif’s daughter in the letter has appealed to the judges of the apex court to form the Judicial Commission. She wrote, “I am writing a letter to get justice for my father.

In the letter the daughter of the slain journalist wrote, “A campaign was started against my father under planning, baseless cases were made against my father in different cities.”

Aliza Arshad further wrote, “Father’s movement was limited and death threats started coming when the matter worsened he was forced to leave the country to save life and honour despite he did not want to leave the country.

She wrote, “Father went to Dubai but he was not spared there too. He did not have many choices but he had to go to Kenya and was martyred in a targeted attack there.

She requested the judges, “honourable judges you are in influential positions and you have a great responsibility to ensure justice.” Aliza further wrote that being the daughter of the martyr it was requested to form a judicial commission.
