Art House by Sarwat Gillani helps children polish their creative abilities

‘Art House by Sarwat Gillani’ is an art education oriented, school-like project which the actress, painter and social activist Sarwat Gillani has initiated in order to nurture the creative capabilities of minors.

According to the ‘Churails’ fame actress, the project is an inquiry-based art space to help children develop the cognitive, social-emotional and multisensory skills of children, a lot of whom have already taken admission into ‘Art House’. Other than activities related to art and craft, book reading will also be encouraged at ‘Art House’, with Liberty Books acting as the reading partners for the platform. Specially designed for after-school activities, ‘Art House’ holds a large number of creative individuals supervising various activities.

This isn’t the first time that actress Sarwat Gillani has been observed promoting art-related activities. Being a meticulous painter herself, the ‘Mata-e-Jaan’ fame performer has often been seen encouraging her own sons to draw and paint. This initiative by her, however, has been the first to promote artistic activities at a professional level and also the first to bring children from all over Karachi to polish their under-appreciated talents.

Sarwat Gillani, the founder of ‘Art House’ is currently also busy in the promotion of her up-coming web-series titled ‘Farar’ in which she will be seen along-with top-notch actors such as Tooba Siddiqui and Zahid Ahmed.
