Asad Umar has announced the new schedule of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march.
Earlier, it was announced that the march would start on Tuesday under Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s leadership. But the plan was later changed and it was announced that Qureshi will lead the march on GT Road while Asad Umar will lead the PTI’s caravan of the long march from Faisalabad.
However, later on, the new schedule of PTI’s long march was announced. According to it, the march will start from Thursday.
Asad Umar has said in a statement issued on Twitter that the journey from Wazirabad of Long March will resume on Thursday. He has said that he will participate in the long march with Shah Mehmood Qureshi and other colleagues.
Asad Umar has further said that the march will start from Toba Tek Sing in Faisalabad Division on Friday, Jhang on Saturday, Faisalabad on Sunday, Jaranwala on Monday, Chiniot on Tuesday, Sargodha on Wednesday.
He has further stated that later Shah Mehmood Qureshi will lead the long march on GT Road.
According to the tweet, Ali Amin Gandapur will lead the march from the southern districts in KP, Mehmood Khan and Murad Saeed from the Malakand region and Peshawar Valley while Pervaiz Khattak will lead from the Hazara region.
