Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) general secretary Asad Umar has challenged the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in response to information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb’s speech.
During a recent press conference, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb had said that the people are standing with Nawaz Sharif because of his vision.
Marriyum Aurangzeb had said that the voter of Pakistan knows that only Nawaz Sharif can get the country out of chaos. She said that during the period of current coalition government, there was talk of auctioning national institutions, while we did not auction the institutions again in 15 months.
However, in response to Marriyum Aurangzeb’s statement, Asad Umar challenged the PML-N and said that the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should contest against the PTI from any constituency of Islamabad in the upcoming elections.
Asad Umar further said that Marriyum Aurangzeb’s claim of installing only one hand pump for the constituency during the PTI regime was false.
