Atif Aslam hints at cinema premiere of his drama serial

Singer Atif Aslam, who will be making his television debut this week just piqued everyone’s curiosity by his latest video on Instagram. In the video, Aslam was found saying that the OST of his drama serial ‘Sang-e-Mah’, sung by himself, would release on January 7, a day before the serial’s release on television. But the caption which he had given to his video went like this:

‘Cinema premiere and OST releasing on 7th January 2022!’

The statement instantly took fans by storm, who started wondering if the first episode of the much-awaited drama serial will be screened in cinema halls. It is quite probable, considering the mega-project ‘Sang-e-Mah’ is, and the excitement it has created.

Before this, two of Pakistani drama serials have been screened in cinemas: ‘Pyare Afzal’ and ‘Mere Pas Tum Ho’. Both of these drama serials were written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and the last episodes of both made it to packed cinema halls. ‘Sang-e-Mah’, however, is a production written by Mustafa Afridi and directed by Saif-e-Hassan, neither of of whom has been found giving any final statement regarding the serial’s premiere in cinemas.
