A new twist has come in the investigation of the three-member audio leaks commission headed by Justice Qazi Faez Isa of the Supreme Court, as the Audio Leaks Commission has released the transcripts of nine audios under investigation.
On the other hand, PEMRA’s deputy director has also confirmed the transcripts of the alleged audios.
The audios which have been released include the alleged conversation between the Supreme Court judge and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, the alleged audio between Imran Khan and Musarrat Cheema, the alleged audio between the Chief Justice’s mother-in-law and the wife of lawyer Tariq Rahim and the alleged conversation between Parvez Elahi and Arshad Joja Advocate.
The commission has also released a transcript of the alleged audio of former chief justice Of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar and lawyer Tariq Rahim, while the alleged audio between Parvez Elahi and President Supreme Court Bar Abid Zuberi, the alleged conversation between Fawad Chaudhry and his brother Faisal Chaudhry and the alleged audio between Saqib Nisar’s son and the PTI leader have been released.
The concerned people involved in the audio leaks, prepared by the government?
According to sources, the list of names of those involved in the audio leaks has been prepared.
The Attorney General’s Office has prepared a list of names related to alleged audios, and the first name in this list is former chief minister of Punjab Parvez Elahi.
According to sources, the list includes the names of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, former chief justice Saqib Nisar, the current Chief Justice’s mother-in-law, journalist Qayyum Siddiqui and PTI leader Jamshaid Cheema.
Sources said that the names of lawyer Khawaja Tariq Rahim and his wife Rafia Tariq are also included in the list prepared by the government, President Supreme Court Bar Abid Zubeiri, former chief justice’s son Najam Saqib and Abu Zar Maqsood Chadha, besides the name of a serving judge of the Supreme Court are also included.
