Azadi March vandalism case: Imran Khan granted pre-arrest bail till July 6

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former prime minister Imran khan has gotten pre-arrest bail till July 6 in the Azadi March vandalism case.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan appeared before Islamabad’s district and sessions court which granted pre-arrest bail in different cases pertaining to vandalism during the May 25 Azadi march towards Islamabad.

The court has granted the pre-arrest bail in 10 FIRs against Imran Khan, directing the police to submit record of cases in the next hearing. Hearing was adjourned till July 6.

The former PM was directed by the court to submit Rs5,000 surety against his bail. Sessions Judge Kamran Basharat heard the bail pleas amid strict security arrangements in the court.

Imran Khan has also obtained bails in other cases from different courts. Different PTI leaders have also been nominated in the cases along with their chairman and all of them have been granted bails by courts.

Other PTI leaders that have been booked in different cases and are on bail including Asad Umar, Qasim Khan Suri, Faisal javed, Pervez Khattak, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ali Muhammad Khan, Shehryar Afridi, Murad Saeed, Raja Khurram Nawaz, Hammad Azhar, Yasmeen Rashid, Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Musarrat Cheema, Murad Raas, Andleeb Abbas and Sheikh Rasheed.
