Babar Azam completes 1,000 runs this year

Babar Azam has completed a total of 1,000 runs this year and he is the first Pakistani batsman to achieve this honour after six years. The Pakistani captain achieved this honour in the second innings of the third Test Match between Pakistan and England in Karachi.

Babar Azam is the sixth Pakistani batsman to score 1000 runs in a year when he reached 45 runs in the second innings of the third Test Match after which he was dismissed for 54 runs.
