Babar Azam enjoys golf during his off time

Pakistan captain Babar Azam is enjoying his off time by playing golf in Lahore after he was asked to rest in the series against Afghanistan to manage his workload and give the opportunity to young PSL performers.

Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi were all rested for the series to give new players who had shown promise in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) a chance.

Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairperson Najam Sethi stated on March 13 that the decision was made by the selectors in light of the workloads of the key players and upcoming series.

The captain posted a video of himself playing a golf game at a golf course in Lahore on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Earlier, Pakistan’s stand-in skipper Shadab Khan led Pakistan to a consolation 66-run victory in the third and final Twenty20 international on Monday in Sharjah but Afghanistan won the series 2-1.
