Biden assures cooperation with investigation in secret documents case

In response to the finding of sensitive administration documents in his areas, US President Joe Biden assured Americans that he was fully participating in the investigation.

However, the US media issued a warning that the administration’s attempts to hold former president Donald Trump accountable for stealing classified data would be harmed by the finding.

A journalist asked Biden at a white house event, “Classified material, next to your Corvette — what were you thinking?”

To which Biden replied, “The documents were in a locked garage, not sitting out in the street. My Corvette is in a locked garage.”

He told the nation that he was fully participating in the investigation and said, “People know that I treat secret material seriously.”

President Biden stated during his presentation at the White House that the Department of Justice will receive the documents found at his residence.

He remarked, “My lawyer has reviewed other places where documents from my time as vice president were stored, and they finished the review last night.”

He added that they found a few documents with classified markings in my home’s storage rooms and filing cabinets, as well as in my library. In the instance of the Biden Penn Center, this was carried out. The Justice Department was notified right away. And the attorneys made arrangements for the Department of Justice to obtain the papers.
