BISE Larkana announces intermediate results with no position holders

33,002 out of 39,308 candidates pass annual examination, while 5,609 fail

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Larkana, has announced the annual examination result of class 12 pre-medical, pre-engineering, commerce and humanities groups of private and regular students on Wednesday.

The controller of examinations said students couldn’t secure positions in the annual examination due to the coronavirus pandemic, but on the other hand, the Sindh education department had already announced that no one would be given positions this time.

Out of 39,308 candidates who appeared in the annual examination, as many as 33,002 were declared pass and 5,609 failed.

Out of 23,608 pre-medical students 20,357 have passed and 3,141 failed.

The result of 311 students has been withheld for copy cases, non-deposit of fees, incomplete documents and impersonations.

In the pre-engineering group, 13,659 students participated, out of which 11,312 have been declared pass and 2,170 failed, and the results of 157 students were withheld for the same reasons.

In the commerce group, out of 338 candidates, 303 passed, while 51 failed. The result of 33 students was withheld for the same reasons mentioned previously.

483 students appeared in humanities group of regular students, out of which 338 were declared pass, and 129 failed, and the result of seven candidates was withheld for the same reasons.

In the private humanities group, 1,009 candidates appeared, out of which 118 failed. The result of 217 has been withheld for copy cases, impersonation, submission of incomplete documents and non-payment of examination fees.

Students of Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kandhkot,  Kashmore, Kambar-Shahdadkot districts and Mehar and K.N Shah Taluka of Dadu District took part in the examination.
