The body of Director Safe City Islamabad Abdul Qadeer has been recovered from his house.
According to the Islamabad police, Abdul Qadeer a Grade 19 officer in Islamabad Police was found dead in his house in Margalla Town.
Abdul Qadeer was serving in The Islamabad Police on deputation. According to the police, the body has been sent for post-mortem.
Police said that it wasn’t so far clear whether it was suicide or murder. Police officers have said that they will be able to find the cause of death after the initial postmortem report.
The statement on the official Twitter handle of the capital police has stated that IG Islamabad has taken notice of the incident and has ordered DIG Operations to conduct a transparent investigation in every aspect of the case. In the statement, Islamabad Police has expressed condolences to the families of the victim.
According to police, senior police officers and forensic teams reached the spot for investigation over the incident.
The deceased was an employee of NTC and was serving in Islamabad Police on deputation.
