The National Assembly has been summoned for a session tomorrow at 5 PM. The Senate has also been called to meet at 4 PM on the same day. Both sessions have been officially convened.

President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the sessions. The decision was made on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Officials say the budget date is still under consideration. However, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry confirmed that the budget is expected to be presented on Friday, June 12.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will present the federal budget in the National Assembly. The budget will outline government spending, revenue plans, and key economic priorities for the upcoming fiscal year.

The session is expected to be important, as it will set the direction for national economic policy and development priorities for 2026–27.
