A proposal has been included in Pakistan’s Federal Budget 2026–27 to allocate funds for a sports academy dedicated to javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem.
According to budget documents, an allocation of Rs. 50 million (5 crore rupees) has been proposed for the Arshad Nadeem / Shehbaz Sharif High Performance Sports Academy. The documents state that the academy will be constructed on the instructions of Shehbaz Sharif.
According to the proposal, the sports academy will be built at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad. Regarding expenditures, the documents estimate the total cost of the project at Rs. 895.1 million (89 crore and 51 lakh rupees).
It is worth noting that Tariq Fazal Chaudhry stated on social media that the federal budget is expected to be presented in the National Assembly on June 12.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Aurangzeb is expected to present the Federal Budget for the fiscal year 2026–27 in the National Assembly.
