Cases against ‘imported govt’ are dropping on daily basis: Asad Umar

PTI Secretary-General Asad Umar stated that cases against the current government were being dropped on a daily basis in response to PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz’s acquittal in the Avenfield corruption case by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

On Thursday, after Maryam was cleared in a significant judicial win for the PML-N, the PTI leader turned to Twitter to express his opinion.

According to a tweet from Asad, “Cases against government officials are being dropped every day, and inflation is rising day by day. These are the primary reasons Imran Khan was ousted by conspirators.

Maryam Nawaz’s appeal was heard by a two-member IHC panel that included Justices Aamer Farooq and Mohsin Akhtar Kayani.

She was charged with assisting her father and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in committing the crime by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
