Celebrities share their New Year resolutions

With 2022 commencing, MinuteMirror got in touch with a few celebrities to ask how they plan to spend the coming year.

Ahsan Khan

Even if you don’t consider yourself the outdoorsy type, it’s a proven fact that connecting with nature reduces stress. So take a hike (even a stroll), watch a sunrise or sunset with someone you love, or take that extra lap around the park with your dog. The fresh air will do you good! Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature reduces anger, fear and stress, and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel emotionally better, but it also contributes to your physical well-being; reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones.

Usman Mukhtar

I want to start production.

Ali Tahir

I believe more in day-to-day resolutions, and I think what is important is to work hard to make your resolutions materialise. Whatever you commit to yourself, you should work on it with a sincere heart.

Nadia Afgan

My new year resolution is to be kind, be peaceful, be tolerant and more helpful than I was last year. We need to genuinely dish out love and respect. The world needs it, as the people around us are not doing it so well. Everyone deserves love and kindness.

Omair Rana

I will be focusing on a fit bod. Besides, I might learn to ride or play a musical instrument. One of these is a must, if not all three.

Shamoon Abbasi

My new year resolution is to bring the best out of me and be closer to my family.

Yasir Akhtar

I will be doing more social work in Pakistan, UK and other places. Besides that, our company Pegasus Productions will be bringing more quality productions like the films ‘Azaad’, ‘Rung Dorangi’ and ‘Mujh Ko Pata Hai’ and will create a more innovate media industry. Like always, I love to take risks and give chances to new and promising talents in every field of the entertainment industry. My new project ‘Multinational Films’ is capturing hearts and will continue to make new trends. Sending love and prayers and wishing a prosperous 2022 to everyone.

Marina Khan

I’ll be turning 60 next year so health will be my focus.
