Celebrity bashing; divine right of Internet police

Whether a celebrity posts a picture in western clothes or a picture of beautifully carrying a shalwar Kameez. The moral police of the internet got the divine right to criticize them in every situation.

Recently singing sensation; Aima Baig again came under fire for sharing her pictures on social media during Ramazan.

The singer of the song “ Baazi” took to Instagram and shared a beautiful picture of a night out in London with her Instagram family. Beautifully dressed in a white t-shirt, ripped jeans, and pink coat she looked stunning. But people have no chills. They started bashing her for posting inappropriate (according to moral police) pictures during Ramazan.

Today again the star took to Instagram and posted a cute picture in a light blue eastern dress with the caption; Jummah.

She stole the show with a light blue dress and a beautiful smile but who can keep up with the moral police of the internet? Again people started bashing her on her attire. But this time their point of SCREW (yes better call it a point of the screw because this is created to screw you up) was different.

This time, attire controllers of the internet criticized her for not carrying eastern dress all the time. According to them, she doesn’t have to wear eastern clothes only on Jumma (Friday) but all the time. Another person bashed her for not taking a dupatta on her head.

Whether out of depression or desperation, people always criticize celebrities for not fitting into their parameters. But we need to look up where we are heading as a society, we need to understand that celebrities are humans too with emotions and feelings. We need to realize that cyberbullying is also a heinous crime. Nobody knows at what point they can take criticism straight to their hearts.
