Cheema slams ‘malicious campaign’ against institutions, judges

Adviser to Chief Minister on Information Omar Sarfraz Cheema on Friday denounced what he called a malicious campaign being launched against state institutions and honourable judges. In a tweet, Cheema said that if the enemy is strong, he attacks head-on and only cowards and conspirators resort to backstabbing. “We are confronting a gang of cowards, conspirators and swindlers having an indecent mentality,” he said. Cheema added that “this gang vomits out its mental depravity and indulges in conspiracies against institutions.” The former Punjab governor Cheema said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif “by shedding crocodile tears was not deceiving people but only deceiving himself.” The team of Shehbaz Sharif can take part in photo shoots but proved to be highly incompetent and inefficient in running the country, he maintained. “The Shehbaz-Zardari gang made a conspiracy and brought itself to power in a country which was treading on the path of progress,” he claimed. “Now they are unable to run this country and they are all busy making conspiracies and trying to become political martyrs. The nation is standing with Imran Khan and he will win the next elections with a two-thirds majority.”
