Chief Secretary of Sindh Dr. Mohammad Suhail Rajput transferred, new appointments expected

KARACHI: The Chief Secretary of Sindh, Dr. Mohammad Suhail Rajput, has been transferred by the federal government with immediate effect.

According to official sources, a 22-grade officer, Fakkar Alam, will be the new Chief Secretary of Sindh, who will take charge of his office on Monday.

The same credible official sources said that the caretaker Chief Sindh, Justice (retired) Maqbool Baqir, with the permission of the authorities of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), will change the commissioners of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, and Mirpurkhas divisions.

The Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) of most districts could also be transferred and posted in the major reshuffling within the next few days.
