The Islamabad Police has appealed to the citizens to remain confined to the light spots in the park in the evening in the wake of the horrific incident of the alleged rape of a girl in Islamabad’s F-9 Park.
In a statement posted on Twitter, a police spokesman said the alleged rape of the girl in F-9 Park was being investigated on a scientific basis and security arrangements were being improved in coordination with the district administration.
The spokesman said that those coming to the park in the evening are requested to remain confined to light places and call 15 in case of any emergency.
It may be recalled that two days ago, a girl resident of Mian Channu, was allegedly gang-raped in Islamabad’s F-9 Park.
In her statement to the police, the victim said that two men raped her, and threw away clothes after the rape so that she could not run away, the rapist told the girl to not come to the park in the evening after raping her.
