A blast occurred in Kabul on Saturday injuring almost four people. A security commander while talking to the local media said that two military soldiers of the Islamic Emirate were also injured in a blast near an electronic identity card centre in the Dasht-e-Barchi area in District 13.
According to officials, the explosives were placed on a motorbike, adding that two of the wounded individuals are civilians.
Meanwhile, around the first anniversary of the Taliban taking over Afghanistan, Afghan women demonstrated in Kabul on Saturday early morning near the Ministry of Education in support of their rights. The Taliban opened fire to scatter the relatively small crowd.
One of the protestors told local afghan media that the rally has been dispersed for now but they will continue to raise their voice “for freedom and protection of human rights in Afghanistan.”
