CM KP doubts federal govt intentions but promises to make KP self-sufficient

Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan claimed that his administration has created a sustainable development model in the province with the goal of making K-P financially self-sufficient.

Mehmood Khan stated that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) believes in institutional empowerment rather than relying on individuals

He said that the current federal government’s lack of care for the development of these places has led to severe doubts about its intentions.

In a statement released by the CM Secretariat, He added that institutional empowerment is the only way to ensure sustainable development and the establishment of a welfare state.

According to him, the K-P province has been put on a path of growth as a result of long-term planning, making it a model for national development.

The chief minister emphasized that the provincial administration has put forth a lot of effort to promote tourism as an industry, making the province a popular travel destination both nationally and internationally.

Numerous efforts have been launched in an attempt to use the province’s natural resources.

The availability of inexpensive power has made K-P a desirable location for domestic and foreign businesses looking to develop small and big industrial operations.

The chief minister insisted that despite several obstacles and difficulties, the province administration had effectively finished the difficult work of integrating the former FATA into K-P.

He claimed that the tribal people’s fears of continuous exploitation of the tribal belt were exacerbated by the lack of development money.
