CM Sindh shares his worries about delay of Sindh’s part of motorway

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah voiced his worries over the excessive delay in the construction of Sindh’s portion of the 306-km Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway.

On Friday, when speaking with Federal Minister for Communication Asad Mahmood, CM Sindh raised his concerns over the 306-km Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway which is being built as part of the CPEC and PSDP projects.

He claimed that while the Peshawar-Sukkur Motorway was built on schedule, the segment in Sindh was being delayed needlessly.

The chief minister said that the federal government should assure financial closure of the project over the next six months so that it may be finished by March 2023 because it was now too late.

Federal minister Asad Mahmood gave the chief minister of Sindh assurance that the project will be launched on schedule by taking the appropriate actions.

He also said that the provincial administration would be kept up to date on all project developments.
