COAS continues his farewell visits

Yesterday he went to Peshawar, today reached Sialkot and Mangla garrisons, says ISPR

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa while continuing his farewell visits reached Sialkot and Mangla garrisons on Thursday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), these gatherings are part of his farewell visits to various formations. COAS met officers and men at both locations and addressed the troops.

COAS appreciated formations for their excellent performance during various operations, training, and natural calamities.

COAS also advised troops to keep serving the nation with the same zeal and commitment no matter what the circumstances.

Earlier, General Bajwa was received by Lieutenant General Muhammad Aamer and Lieutenant General Ayman Bilal Safdar at Mangla garrison, Sialkot.

General Bajwa visited Peshawar on Wednesday and laid a floral wreath at the Shuhada monument after reaching Corps Headquarters.

COAS appreciated the formation for monumental efforts in achieving peace and stability and also addressed officers and men of the Peshawar corps.

General Bajwa said we owe it to the sacrifices of our Shuhada for providing a secure and enabling environment for socio-economic development in Newly Merged Districts in particular and KP in General.
