Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah laid flowers and offered Fateha.
The Chief of Army Staff also visited Corps Headquarters Karachi where he was briefed on operational, security and other related issues and assistance was given to the civil administration in flood-affected areas.
The Army Chief appreciated the performance of the army and Rangers during the floods in Sindh. He lauded the formation and law enforcement agencies for maintaining a safe environment in Karachi.
On his arrival in Karachi, the Army Chief was received by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed.
