The next year 2023 is expected to be hotter than 2022 in fact; global temperatures during 2023 could be 1.08 to 1.32C higher than this year.

Climate records had been set since the mid-19th century, according to which 2016 was the warmest year in history.

As per experts, the rose in temperature is due to global warming and the El Niño wave in the Atlantic Ocean.

It will be the tenth year in a row that temperatures will be at least one Celsius higher than the previous year.

According to Professor Adam Scaife of the British Meteorological Department, “2023 may not be a record-breaking year in terms of temperature, but it can prove to be very hot as a result of the increase in emissions of toxic gases globally.”

Dr. Nick Dunstone, head of the global temperature forecasting team, said that during the last three years, the effects of Lanina had an impact on global temperature.
