Complaint filed in NAB against Imran Khan over misuse of KP govt resources

KP lawmaker alleges Imran Khan misused official helicopter given to CM for personal purposes

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has once more come under fire for purportedly using resources of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province for his own uses.

A complaint has been filed against the former prime minister with the National Accountability Bureau for a probe into the issue.

A member of the KP Assembly, Sobia Shah, has filed the complaint with NAB’s KP office. It states that Imran Khan had been involved in the blatant misuse of the resources of the KP government which includes using the KP Chief Minister’s personal helicopter. She said doing so causes massive losses to the government treasury, adding that it was an offense under the relevant provisions of NAO, 1999.

The complainant said any supporting documentation evidence, will be produced to the officer investigating the matter in due time if needed.

Imran Khan is already facing a case in NAB on the same charges made against him in 2018. He had previously appeared before NAB at its KP office.
