Daesh militants responsible for attack in Pakistan embassy died, says Afghan Spokesperson

Afghan Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid has claimed that the Daesh militants who were involved in the attack on Pakistan Embassy in Kabul have been killed.

According to Mujahid, Afghan forces carried out an operation against the Islamic State group or Daesh who were involved in attacks on Pakistan Embassy and a Chinese national hotel.

A representative of the Afghan government revealed that the terrorists killed in the operation also took part in a bombing attack near a military airfield in Kabul and other locations.

He claimed that the raids on Wednesday resulted in the deaths of eight members of Daesh and several foreign nationals.

Mujahid went on to state that the terrorists who were killed had plotted more strikes on important sites. They intended to undertake coordinated strikes while bringing in Daesh militants from other nations.

According to the spokesperson, the operation in Kabul was conducted in the Shuda-e-Saliheen and Qalacha neighbourhoods as well as Zaranj, the Nimroz capital. During the operation, three hideouts were eliminated.

Earlier on December 2nd, some militants opened fire on Chargé d’Affaires (CdA) to Afghanistan Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani while he was out for a walk.

Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani survived the attack but his guard was critically wounded.

The Islamic State group’s Khorasan chapter claimed the responsibility saying Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani was the target of the attack.

Five of Beijing’s citizens were reportedly hurt in a bombing and gun attack on December 12th. Later, China requested that its citizens leave Afghanistan due to security reasons.
