Dania Shah, the third wife of former member of the National Assembly, Aamir Liaquat, has requested the court to file a case regarding his murder. The Additional District and Session Court in East heard Dania Shah’s plea against not registering the case for the murder of Aamir Liaquat.
During the hearing, Dania Shah’s lawyers presented complete evidence, while the government lawyer asked the court for time to present evidence.
Dania Shah stated in court that on February 22, 2022, some foreigners gave Aamir Liaquat Rs250 million, and they also made a video while giving the money.
Dania Shah’s request stated that Aamir Liaquat kept Rs30 million in the bank and kept the remaining amount in lockers of a house in Khudadad Colony. She asked the court to register a case for Aamir Liaquat’s murder.
In Dania Shah’s request, five named individuals, including Mamtaz, Ali Javed, Abbas, Saqib, and three unidentified persons, were nominated.
The court has ordered the government lawyer to present evidence at the next hearing and adjourned the case until April 18 for further hearing.
