Former prime minister Imran Khan stood by his statements even after being questioned by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), where he was unable to provide evidence to prove the murder charges levelled against top military officials or government figures.

The PTI chairman’s admission came after anchor person Kamran Shahid posted a statement on Twitter about what had happened during Imran Khan’s appearance before the JIT probing the Wazirabad attack case.

Kamran Shahid claimed that when Imran Khan was asked if he had any evidence of conspiracy to kill Major General Faisal Naseer. Imran Khan replied that no, he did not have any evidence of allegations.

The anchorperson said that Imran Khan admitted all his video clips in which he had accused top officers of the Pakistan Army of conspiracy to kill, but he failed to prove a single charge.

Later, to the journalist’s claim, Imran Khan replied that he accepts what he said in the videos.

It may be recalled that Imran Khan had accused Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Major General Faisal Naseer of conspiracy to kill.

“The question is how I present evidence when I cannot even file an FIR against Major General Faisal Naseer, who according to me is involved in conspiring to kill me along with Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. It was concluded that there were three attackers in the Wazirabad attack.

“But whenever there is an independent investigation, I will prove that this person is involved in petty crimes against civilians,” he said. ‘

Reacting to this, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said in a press conference yesterday that it has been proved that the PTI chairman made baseless allegations against the Prime Minister, me and the Army Chief.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said That Imran Khan was asked to present evidence before the JIT but he failed to provide evidence.
