DIG (Deputy Inspector General) Shariq Jamal has suddenly passed away under mysterious circumstances in Lahore.
According to reports, DIG Shariq Jamal’s lifeless body was found in his home located in DHA (Defense Housing Authority), Lahore.
Reports stated that the body has been transferred to the hospital for a post-mortem examination, and at the time of his death, Shariq Jamal was alone at home.
As per the reports, DIG Shariq Jamal had sent his two employees home from work, and when one of them returned, they discovered his lifeless body. The police were then informed of the incident.
It is reported that the family of DIG Shariq Jamal was present at another house during the incident.
Further investigations into the matter have been initiated by the police.
Shariq Jamal served as the DIG Traffic and DIG Railways in Lahore, and he was currently holding the position of SSP (Senior Superintendent of Police) Operations.
