Director Fahim Burney continues with his lovely routine of sharing Friday special photos

Very few artists from the showbiz industry of Pakistan are known for wishing their fans a blessed Friday. Director Fahim Burney is one of those rare celebrities who do not miss out on any opportunity of sending across a “Jumma Mubarik” message every Friday with a new picture every time.

On this Friday too, Burney shared a photo all dressed in royal blue, wearing a jacket and a cap as well of the same colour.

Fahim Burney happens to be the most prolific director of Pakistan, who started his career in the 90s and chose greats like Badar Khalil and Marina Khan in his very first directorial project, “Khaali Hath”. Burney then started the trend of shooting high-budgeted serials outside Pakistan, a few examples being “Aik Pal”, “Saharay” and “Manzilein”, the latter being one of the most popular plays of Pakistan. Following the success of “Manzilein” which starred Nadia Khan, Burney also took the actress for “Aik Pal” but due to a serious accident which Khan encountered, her role was given to the top model of those times, Amna Haq.

Even when it comes to satellite productions, Fahim Burney has countless directorial projects to his name such as “Tumhari Natasha”, “Laaj”, “Khoobsurat”, “Aadhi Gawahi”, “Dil e Jaanum”, “Tum Se Kehna Tha”, “Kaisi Aurat Hoon Mein”, “Qismat”, “Kaise Tum se Kahoon”, “Khoya Khoya Chaand”, “Tanhai”, “Sitamgar”, “Mehrbano aur Shahbano”, “New York se New Karachi”, “Yahan Pyar Nahi Hain” and the mega production, “Noor Bano”.

Burney is known for experimenting with all the elements of drama-making, be it the actors, the locations or the stories, and it is for this very reason that a wide variety of serials comes under the name of Fahim Burney.
