Economic crisis can’t be solved without political harmony, PM Shehbaz

No one allowed to put Pakistan’s interest at stake, Imran criticized us for disobeying court but he’s not appearing himself

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan was facing a serious economic crisis that could not be solved without political harmony in the country. He said that no one will be allowed to put the interest of Pakistan at stake.

Addressing the Golden jubilee Ceremony of the Senate of Pakistan the premier said that violations of court orders were being made by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He said that the situation had become a challenge for Pakistan.

The PM said that they had sacrificed their politics for the country and Pakistan was also facing the worst crisis of history. He said that he had never witnessed such bad condition in his lifetime.

Shehbaz Sharif criticized that PTI had violated International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) agreement and had not implemented as per the demands that they had agreed. He said that after that attitude of the previous government it was very difficult for the current government to re-negotiate with the global lender.

Bashing PTI Chairman he said that Imran Khan had earlier said that US was involved in the conspiracy against his ousting but now he has changed his narrative by taking another U-turn. He said that they had earlier called the current government as imported government.

The premier said that it was his responsibility to bring forward all the facts before the nation. He added that a politician was trying to cause destruction to the country but they will not allow that to happen. He said that on one side Imran Khan was criticizing the government for not obeying the courts’ orders and in reality he himself was not appearing before any court

He said that they will not allow the interest of the state to be put at stake. He said that NAB laws were violated blatantly in the previous regime and there was a massive corruption under the PTI government. He said that politicians were being targeted for point scoring. He said that he was ready to sit with anyone and talk for the betterment of the country.
