ECP notify Imran’s victory on 7 NA seats

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notification of the victory of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan from all constituencies.

A five-member commission headed by the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikander Sultan Raja reserved its verdict after the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) took notice of Imran Khan’s failure to submit details of the achievement expenses.

The PTI leader ran in by-elections for six of the eight National Assembly seats on October 16, 2022, while the election for NA-45 was held on October 30.

Election commission declared Imran victorious in Mardan NA-22, Charsada NA-24, Peshawar NA-31, Faisalabad NA-108, Nankana NA-118, Kurram NA-45 and Korangi NA-239.

He had won with seven seats, while the PPP had only been able to secure two seats.

The ECP said that Imran Khan has provided details of election expenses, so his delayed expenditure has been ignored.
