The second round of the local government elections in Hyderabad and Karachi were originally scheduled to take place on July 24, 2022, but the ECP postponed them due to the province’s following flooding and excessive rainfall.

The LG elections were originally scheduled on August 28, but they were again postponed for the same reason. The majority of polling places, according to the commission, were inaccessible to voters.
