ECP saved country from crisis, says Marriyum Aurangzeb

Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has saved the country from a major constitutional crisis with its decision.

In a statement, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the decision of the Election Commission defended the interest of Pakistan and the Election Commission decided after looking at the economic, political, and security situation.

The Minister said that the Election Commission took this decision after consulting all the stakeholders, and the decision of the Election Commission will guarantee political stability in the country.

She further added that due to the ego of one person, elections were being forcibly imposed on two provinces, while governments will be formed in two provinces if the National Assembly elections were held.

“If elections were held in two provinces on April 30, they would have been controversial forever, if the elections were held on April 30, the assemblies in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would have ended six months ago. This decision will bring political stability to the country,” Marriyum.

Marriyum Aurangzeb claimed that the country cannot rum on the will of a person, Imran breaks the constitution whenever he wants and breaks the assembly whenever he wants, it will not work, he breaks the heads of the policemen whenever he wants, it will not work, he attacks the Election Commission whenever he wants, it will not work.
