Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organizer and Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that the entire leadership of the PML-N was also put in jail, but no one had left Nawaz Sharif.
Addressing the Youm-e-Takbeer ceremony at Liberty Chowk Lahore, Maryam Nawaz said, “Salute to Nawaz Sharif who made the country invincible, salute to the national security institutions, the Pakistan Army who protected it.”
She said that history has witnessed that Nawaz Sharif carried out nuclear blasts in Chaghi without delay of a moment and made the country’s defense invincible. She said that there was pressure not only from the then US President Bill Clinton but from all over the world not to carry out nuclear explosions, but Nawaz Sharif carried out nuclear explosions, because brave leaders also lead brave nations.
Maryam Nawaz said that Nawaz Sharif did not allow the flag of Pakistan to bow down and managed the economy and the nation.
Senior Vice President of the PML-N further said in her address that the entire leadership of PML-N was in jail but no one left Nawaz Sharif, even today the people of the party are standing with Nawaz Sharif like a rock.
In her address, Maryam Nawaz further said that Nawaz Sharif will come and the journey of development which was broken by temptations will start from there.
